AT HOME PARTY

On the occasion of Independence Day and Republic Day, His Excellency the  Governor  of Orissa hosts AT HOME Party at Raj Bhavan, Bhubaneswar. Dignitaries like Chief Minister, Chief Justice, Speaker of Orissa Legislative Assembly, Council of Ministers, Members of Parliament from Orissa, Members of State Legislative Assembly, Judges of   High Court, Chairman and Members of Central Administrative Tribunal, State Administrative Tribunal, Prominent Industrialists, Eminent Tribal Leaders, Social Workers of Orissa, Chiefs of Important NGOs, Eminent persons in the field of Art, Literature, Music Sports etc. of the State, former Governors from Orissa, former Chief Ministers of Orissa, former Union Ministers & Ministers of State from Orissa, Freedom Fighters, Central & State Civil, Police, Military, Literature, Sports Awardees of Orissa, former Judges of Orissa High Court, Former Advocates General  of Orissa, Retired IAS officers of the rank of Chief Secretary/Secretaries to Government of India, Retired IPS officers of the rank of D.G. of Police and former Principal Chief Conservators of Forests, Orissa, Accredited Media Personnel etc. are invited to the AT HOME Party. State Government Officers in the rank of Addl. Secretary and above and Government of India officers in the rank of Director    stationed at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack are also invited.

Normally "AT HOME" Party continues for one hour from 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Independence Day and Republic Day respectively. "AT HOME" Party begins on arrival of His Excellency the Governor and Lady Governor at the venue. As soon as the Governor proceeds to the venue six buglers blow their bugles and soon after arrival of His Excellency the Governor and Lady Governor at the venue National Anthem begins. At the end of the Party, same procedure is followed. In the Party, His Excellency the Governor goes round and meets personally each guest present there.  All guests are entertained with high tea.
